Smith had re-signed but as i said nothing announced officially - Apparently the Chooks will be saving their money to enter the player market if required for players off contract at the end of 2022 as the 2021 list is very skinny for suitable players- there is none from other clubs they are interested in is the word.

Personally every week I don't see Suaalii in the 17 I am angry. Think he is all class already and deserves a spot, especially over Ikuvalu...

his one game at wing was v the best side in the comp so hard to guage but i probably agree. still, not sure what our best line up is. fb, hb and left side are locked in but the best option for 5/8 and the right side isn't clear. hutch is amore orthodox choice but i'd like to see joey m at 5/8, suaalii at centre and either smith or iku (get him to practise taking bombs) on the wing

I hope Smith plays in the centres & easers his way in. Ive seen him play less than 5 games but there is something about him that I like, I think hes aggressive. He's a tall big bloke that hopefully can stay fit & show us all what he's got.
