It's also time to stop bagging Mini, Anasta and any other player who have played for us and are getting on but still competitive. The guys haven't set foot on the field and already some speculate the disaster of having them for one more season after this one. How about a little support and getting these guys out there with the backing of the fans?

I will be happy to back the current team and see how they go.. We did win our last 4 games with Anasta at 5/8.
While i'm at it, who was the dope who said Sam Perrett was too slow? I watch the drills and he is easily the quickest over 20m... He has also scored long range tries (2 years ago v manly he smoked along the touch line to score)..
Not to mention the fact that when he was injured last yr we couldnt beat ourselves... When he came back he made 10-15 metres from the first hit up, got our forwards on the front foot and hey presto,,,, we start winning games again...
best back that we have (and should probably be playing fullback)..... and an international...
We really should think before bagging our own players..

Agree with this, Mini and Braith mightn't be the best players going around but they've served this club amazingly well. I might not be the most knowledgeable footy fan but I think these 2 are capable enough and I'm happy to have them at the club for as long as they want to be involved with the mighty Easts.
