Not only should Isaac not have been penalised for a crusher penalty, the friggin dairy cow who laid down holding his neck should've been thanking him for getting out of the way so he didn't injure himself! Glad the commentators picked up on the fact that all you've got to do is lay down and hold your neck and you get a penalty! The refs and bunker should pay more attention to this cowardly practice!

Agreed I might just switch it on every 10 mins or so and see how the boys are holding up I get so triggered watching us get shafted every week. We will be fatigued from all the extra work by 60th minute we won’t be given a chance I just hope the boys respect the pill and complete somewhere about 85%.

The good news is that somebody in the NRL is noticing and saying 'you did a shyte job mate and it totally swung the momentum of the game! Here's a few lessons for you to take onboard next time...'

Seriously, that's all I wanna hear happening. No refs are 'cheating' and they've all obvious met some really high standards in order to ref NRL (it must be a pain that the pool to draw from when one leaves is pretty shallow, so they don't wanna have refs walking due to mistreatment...etc).

IMO one of the biggest issues with refs (at all levels) is that they are humans and sometimes they let themselves get emotionally bribed by players. Whether it's Tuesday night mixed netball or an NRL game, refs seem to get a sniff of certain players on the basis that they don't like how physical they are being. My biggest issue with Cummins was that he stopped the game, listened to Proctor's rant and then gave JWH a 'warning'. In the same game he gave JWH an incorrect penalty and refused to penalise Proctor because Manu stood up right away. Long story short, he bought into Proctor's whinging and let it cloud his judgment.

I dunno why, but JWH get targeted by refs - I think because he's big, fit (played 80 minutes) and VERY competitive. He gets under people's skin so they're always complaining about it. Rather than saying 'STFU', refs seem to say 'sure I will watch his tackles' & by doing so inadvertently commit to putting him under a microscope... even when he's done nothing wrong. They then incorrectly penalise him and miss it when the whinger goes in with a blatant high shot.
