we've got a couple of tough games ahead and if we can jag one win then i'll be over the moon but all we can do is go out and play our best footy and maybe the footy gods shine on us and we get some success

Who do we possibly get back next week?

James Tedesco, Sam Verrills, Siua Taukeiaho, Boyd Cordner, Nat Butcher? Will need a few on board to match up with a Panthers side who will be pretty keen to get back on their winning ways.

High Set completions and minimising the errors i.e conceding set restarts, penalties and missed tackles would be a start.

The Riff would have noticed the same things the Titans did at half time- lazy defenders around the ruck - teams always have success against the Chooks when they go wide and then back through the middle - Titans also went wide then back through the middle then wide on the other side in scoring a few of their second half tries.

The Chooks defenders need to read the game better and follow the ball and be ready.

Some of the defenders get lazy in the middle and arm grab and some outside backs seem to be confused in whom they are to tackle.

Instead of working on their wrestling, judo and jiu-jitsu nonsense they should be working on their lines of defence - line speed in meeting ball carriers before the advantage line not after and the line moving from side to side following the ball.
