yeah, rads got the rough end and i don't think it's fair that he missed 5 games as well as the 20 mins but you can't have it both ways - they got the call on rads wrong and the later more lenient calls on other similar incidents right. maybe there was a bit of unconscious bias v rads but i'd put it down to bad timing. rads did what he did when the nrl had announced a crackdown. but no doubt the nrl should have handled it all better

Rads was a victim of the initial over enforcing of the so called crackdown, and the loading system. Any other week he stays on the field and MAYBE fets put on report and gets a fine or ONE WEEK, it was ridiculous but I can't imagine him suing the NRL

Should he ask for a review or some kind of appeal process (if possible) ? = YES

Should he sue the NRL ? = HELL NO. The last thing we want is to make Rads public enemy #1 and paint a red target on him for the rest of his career especially whilst playing for us. NRL administration are a bunch of political scumbags. Rads should steer clear. If there's anyone who should make enquriries about the matter then it's Politis and his legal team.

Uploaded a video after the raiders GF breaking down why they weren't robbed.. used small clips but 99% of it was my voice and opinion... NRL just blocked it and took it down.. tried to dispute it but they basically said get ****ed... nice
I saw that video at the time. It was very good.

I keep saying it Rads was hung and quartered publicly by Vlandys the day before his hearing..I would've appealed just on that and win the case.

It ended up 5 weeks because of the loading's for similar (50 % loading - 3) and non similar offences ( 20% - 1) and being unsuccessful at the judiciary - Grade 2 is 200 points and with an early plea 150 points - miss only 1 game ad 50 carryovers if a clean skin - i.e no loading's and carryovers.

If he is charged with a similar tackle again it will 7 weeks with an early plea

Players can appeal the judiciary decision - need to prove there were floors in the process/ new or further evidence being obtained which was not know about before the conclusion of the judiciary hearing/ suspension was excessive etc.

I only remember players and player agents appealing their deregistration by the NRL through this appeals committee and not players appealing their suspensions.

Never heard of players taking the governing body of any sport to court as a result of a suspension they incurred for foul play or misconduct.

What would be his legal recourse though and what would his case be based on?

If it ever got to court hypothetically speaking that is - the NRL prosecution would table the NRL rules on foul play and misconduct and the docs on the whole judiciary process -what would Radley's defence team come up with though to counter that - nothing i suggest.

The judge would say case dismissed and most likely warn Radley's defence team about Filing vexatious litigation and wasting the courts time.

Let’s collaboratively sue the NRL for depriving us of watching the great Victor Radley.

I’m on the plane about to take off on way back to Sydney. I got Rads in the seat in front. I showed him this thread and he laughed.

or he could take the high road, come back, play like the champion we all know and love and help the Roosters in their quest to win their 3rd premiership in 4 years. Living well is the best revenge.

                              We have a winner.

nrl management muppets are a joke. The game last night against the titans serves as further proof.
