  • SKD finally out of hospital

good to hear after 4 days in hospital SKD finally made it home this afternoon, hope he is feeling better and has a speedy recovery.

just reading an interesting twitter conversation between SKD and Dr John Orchard, seems Dr John was indicating that it was a bruised kidney not lacerated as earlier thought, also SKD mentioned he had just picked up the CT scan results and it was all clear.

so not sure what it means in terms of recovery time, but hopefully he has avoided the more serious injury that they had first feared.

still think it would be unlikely the club would rush him back in round 1 given the fact he has just spent 4 days in hospital and will obviously need to rest up for a while, which will probably result in a loss of fitness but also confidence given the nature of the injury.

Gee, a bruised kidney is different to a lacerated kidney. I bruise my kidneys most weekends pounding the schoobies into me. It usually takes me 4 days to recover. So given that bit of wisdom, he should be sweet to go sooner rather than later. Which is great news.

Good to hear that SKD has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to recovery.

Whilst he was there, I hope he had a couple of shoulder transplants that can be used in tackles.

Is it too early for a Whitney Huston reference?
