No team that has surrendered 50 points in a game has gone on to win the premiership. That’s a shame
So many Souths fans reminded me at work LY when they put 50 on us that no team has ever conceded 50 and gone on to win the premiership.
Can't wait to get back to work on Monday.

That’s the best part of that stat. They all know it.
Time to rebuild. Club in crisis
Everyone is entitled to their opinion , Headless, and I respect the opinion of others, and I'll admit that I have rather antiquated views.
But can you honestly say that the Roosters of 74/75, or the Parra sides of the early 80's ,was boring football ? - all that was played under the ancient rules
I would love to see some trial games (pre -season , or a mid week knockout comp, like the old Amco cup) - played under some old style regulations.
Who knows, some people may actually like it.
It might also reward a team to get possession based on some skill (ie scrum technique) rather than someone sitting in a bunker , getting the tape measure out after a play, calculating the centimetres involved , then awarding the ball to the team once they have done the measurements

In all my years I have never heard anybody say they can't wait to get back to work on Monday.

LOL, happy reminding. Would love to be a fly on the wall.
Oh the excuses you're going to hear on Monday.
Of course it's just a stat - just highlighting how much of a big deal was made over it when it was us, and I don't believe it was mentioned last night once by Gus and co on 9. Fox team did mention it though.
I’m not sure why you are saying Gus didn’t bring it up??

I haven't been back in the workplace since the last week of March 2020 - Been full time working from home and will continue to do so - goodbye to the 6:00 am alarm - i always think of that Monkey's song "Day dream Believer "
Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings
Of the bluebird as she sings The six o'clock alarm would never ring
But it rings, and I rise
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes
My shavin' razor's cold and it stings

Me too KS. My alarm was 4.50am up until 22 March 2020. I get up at 6am now every day because I want to - not because I have to.
This was my song:
I had no idea of the score from last night as I checked it at 30 nil, had a laugh and went to bed. It wasn't until my Dragons mate at work messaged me and my Raiders mate sent me a photo of a fox in our little chat we have going....funny days..You know it's not just us Roosters fans laughing today..they sure do leave a bad taste with fans from other clubs too..

We don't have Souths fans at my current workplace as there are stringent police checks prior to employment.....no joke, even though I'd worked for the bank twice before, they still needed to do a thorough background eheck..

While it's great that Souffs lost, IMO we need to focus on our own game, otherwise karma will come back to get us. For all I know, we'll show up with the attitude of the farking Sydney Grammar Head Master's XV and end up laughing about how the others take their sports too seriously.
Time to focus on Parra. They're #3, at home and will be looking to put a cricket score on us if we let them.
