I am an emotional person. For good or bad, following this team affects me far more than it should

You are not alone. Like some others on here, I couldn't sleep after Saturday night.

      Thanks roostermcgregor.

There's a view in some quarters that Fox Sports went too far in their dressing room coverage and its focus on BMoz. Not sure about that.

I've waited a few days to get sorted before posting.

Saddest thing I've seen for a while was Josh with Brett and comforting him.

I'm gonna be real honest here, when we signed then, I thought not a good signing, they're past it. Yep, 100% so bloody wrong and happy to be wrong. The brothers have shown brilliance and chucked in everthing on the field for us.

Man I know its a massive massive ask/wish but I hope both are with us next year.

Very well said. They have been amazing competitors their entire careers and deserve all the accolades coming their way. My only question is, and I don't mean to take anything away from them but would they be the same players at the twilight of their careers as they are here at the Roosters right now? They love the club and seem to have thrived while here. Its a real shame we weren't graced with their talents earlier. Oh what could have been!

we said the same about Cooper, but Coops was at least with a strong club before joining us. I think it fair to say the Mozz bros probably had 4 or 5 wasted years pre Roosters at weak clubs ...but yeah would've been great to get them 4 or 5 years sooner !

It was hard to watch. When he was screaming in pain I almost had to walk away.

For those on here that are hoping BMoz comes back to play again next year , I don't want to rain on your party.
But given Rads and Sam V took 12 months to get back from their ACL injuries, it would be round 8 next year (at the earliest) that he gets to play.
He needs to go through all the rehab, he has existing injury concerns, and he has missed the pre-season , so he needs to get match fit.
All this to do when you are going to play half a seasons football.
Don't forget that there will be someone else in his place on the wing at the Roosters ( Iku, Suaali ??) and he needs to show that he can trump them to earn back his position.
Don't get me wrong, BMoz was an outstanding footballer and goes down as one of our legends, and we all thank him for bringing home the 2019 trophy to Bondi Junction.
Ultimately ,he has to make the decision to call it a day.
But sometimes you need to go with the flow, BMoz had his time in the sun, and he goes out playing football at close to his peak That's the way we will remember him.
Look at the rest of our side right now, there's a trend happening - its a young man's game.
