tai came on in the final qtr but had limited time to show his wares. He got held up over the line after charging onto it.

Tasi tasi did not play but this other togitasi fella is tall with exceptional hands, a bit like cherro. His 2nd row mate willis meehan worked well. Peter o'sullivan has recruited realy well for this squad. Many will graduate
to nyc next year, i predict several will be used later on this year.

Best of the new guys, peni was good plenty of metres, Toupo looked good on the wing, Mogo is untapped and is superstar In the making.

The game was won In the forwards, JWH easy best , Tasi, Mose, Arona, Boyd and FPn were all good.

I must say the fans were well behaved and the staff and security were extremely helpful

The foul mouths of some of the Bulldogs young female ME fans haven't improved any in 20 years, gotten worse in actual fact.

Mrs bondi-boy, an 'older/old lady' effectively, was cheering for the Roosters...and complained out aloud about the refereeing decisions a few times.
Several young ME female Bulldogs fans sitting behind us, a couple of rows, a walkway in between, started up and continued with f word abuse and mocking of her, in the presence of their boyfriends/young males.
We just ignored them.
Then I went to the toilet 10 minutes from fulltime.
It was then, when she was all alone, they hit her with:
"Her .... smells like chicken, can you smell her...., it smells like chicken" etc.

Yes, that's some young ME Bulldogs fans for you, female and male.

Great effort by the Roosters. The forwards completely dominated the Bulldogs and looked very sharp. Enthusiasm was up and players looked like they wanted to be out there.

The outside backs looked much more composed without bumbling SKD hampering play. He may have a fight on his hands to regain his first grade spot.

thanks man, like the way you named the players especially the ones we are interested in (actually all ofem)

in the 2nd half, smith brought on regulars sam perrett, pearce, guerra & mitch aubusson.

Jwh played lots of minutes & for mine stepped up & led the pack. In fact, he was doing a lot of talking on the sideline when he came off.
Arona is a real worker.
Fpn was back to hist best in attack. He gave a beautiful flick to morts close to the line which led to his try.
Ant mitchell set up our last try off 2nd phase play.
Our 1st try was off the back of a neat bosden's pass as he was going to ground.
