    Yes 1979 when Fulton was Captain Coach - I remember Macarthy played a handful of games the previous year for the Vermin after returning from a stint with the berries( Canterbury ) as they were called then. The Vermin didn't want him so not sure why he thought the Chooks would

      Yes I remember when the Berries were Canterbury as Mum moved to Campsie from Toowoomba when she was 7 and they were my grandmother's team. My auntie is now 99 years old and still lives across the road from Belmore Sports Ground but she follows Parra and her son, my cousin, follows Souths.

      I really don't know what to think about this conference system as like many on here have said, who wants to watch mediocre teams go around against each other. The networks won't like anything that's not going to draw an audience. As long as I can still watch our Roosters, that's all I care about really.
