Just thought I'd post some love and respect for Walker's skills against the Dragons.

It's only just sunk in that during his 4th game, he's won MOTM during an ANZAC test. This is after all the pre-season hype about how much it meant for Keary to be 'promoted' to HB, and how he'd have to step up his (already international grade) game to mKe the transition.

On the bus home today I watched the setup for Butcher's try for ~40 minutes on repeat, noticing new details every time. There's so much more to his running than what the stats say IMO!!! At the ground the guy next to me (both sitting right behind the posts where Butch scored) said that this try summed up Walked and I reckon it does. Freakish talent!!!

IMO it's scary that this guy's only played 4 games and has many years worth of development left in him.

    I'll join your society ism.

His composure is astonishing as are those harbour bridge passes he continues to lob. He has this unassuming aura about him too. Natural freakish talent like my childhood favourite Brett Kenny. Yeah, between him and Lindsay, I think I'll go back to supporting Qld for my Dad...

Think you should read that George Harrison quote before you go back to supporting Queensland RWB

My favourite part of the replay of Walker beautifully setting up Nat is the reverse replay where you see Angus point to his head with his index finger as if to say "that's one smart little mofo" with the way he turned the play back on the inside to cut them to ribbons.

Walker is amazing. He knows it, which is crucial because confidence is half the battle. But his teammates know it, too.

Just how quickly can this kid progress? He just may well be the wildcard that keeps us in this competition after the cruel Keary injury.

Who was the last 6 or 7 who showed what he has early on ??
Cleary had big wraps in him, yet early on he just found his mark with his passes and kicked well ( nothing wrong with that)
I really liked Pearce as a player for the effort he put in for us. Compare Walkers early performances to Pearce !!!
Yes he has a way to go but we watch this game and more importantly our club for hope and excitement.....and Walker turns me on massively with the ride we are about to go on with him

Brooks. Gus had him as NSW half back for ten years after his first year.

Yep. Add 8-10kg and 100 FG games to his resume and you're looking at Alfi-Joey-JT dynastic levels of potential as a genius half.

What a lucky fan base we are.

If only we had Walker alongside Keary this year. Next year should be golden (I'm not discounting this year).

It’s hard to believe he’s so good at only 18. And he plays for the mighty roosters. Lock him up for a long time Nick.

He is something pretty special alright. Lock him up and throw away the key, so to speak! He is going to be one of those generational players we will be talking about for decades. No wonder we were prepared to let a certain other half back go late last year. I think that we can safely believe the hype now people.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
