I must say i'm very surprised they are not finger printing,& taking DNA samples at the gate..

I feel the conditions of entry are not nearly draconian enough..

Especially as most of the women are dressed like Carnita Matthews.

There's nothing threatening or uncomfortable about that, is there. That's normal dress for a modern, first world country like ours.

Just a question, is she calling a mobile to set off a bomb in a night club or am I just extrapolating?

There were umbrellas up everywhere...long live the rebellion!

A folding umbrella would be no harder to see over than one of those 'jester hats' that are very high.

It was bucketing down, swept by a southerly wind.

Many people in the western terrace moved back into the grandstand to take shelter.
It would've been sheer misery on the hill and in the terraces both sides.

The thunderstorm was all gone by the time first grade started and all the grandstand ticketholders arrived.
