I think our fitness in the second half was good. Yes we used a lot of petrol in the first half but I don’t think we lost that game cause we ran out of steam.

Melbourne have a guy who offloaded like he was playing against a bunch of kids. We have nobody who can do this. Harry Grant is quite possibly the best hooker I’ve seen. And Papa and Muster and Hughes tore us new ones.

If we were full strength it would have been a different story.

We lost that game because we played dumb. Forward passes, knock-ons, drop balls, missed tackles, not finding touch.

Plenty of effort but simply not up to the standard of the storm .So much inexperience in the team in important positions .The injuries will cruel us but hopefully it's a learning game for the young fellows

We will be up against it with the cattle out, but no way I will predict a Chooks team to lose by 50 plus, especially in an ANZAC Day game........

When are they gonna stop teams constantly overstepping the mark? The continuous letting go of that rule is hurting the game.

I thought the Chooks played a tough game but we just haven't got the troops to match a fantastic team in the Storm. What a forward pack they have.

Agree. I’d rather them than cocky Panthers or Vermin.

Muster, Grant and Papa. They have another big 3.

Yeah I’ve never complained when storm have won, probably because we usually beat them in finals when we play them.

hughes is a very decent player too, everyone is waiting for the storm to fall, and they just don’t get any worse.

i really didnt think we were terrible tonight . we are missing a heap of players , just no one seems to give our bravery credit. we prob wont win it this year, but by god we will be brave .

Are we just being over cautious?

Yes we made some stupid errors but ref gave all momentum to Storm in the first half and by the 2nd half we had the stuffing knocked out of us and were exhausted. . We only started getting penalties when the game was done and dusted. Storm were good? Yeah when the ref gave all the momentum and possession to them then and only then they did a job on us. Our defense was great but roosters vs Storm vs ref = big loss. And commentators death riding roosters is so sickening.

Thurston has made an observation about this very thing, he said, why wasnt he taken off the field initially after being motionless???
