The Dragons are streaming their trial against the Cowboys on their website.

        Great initiative for their supporters.

Cheers mate. I shouldn't have listened to the roosters website that said he had recovered. It sounded pretty bad when it happened he seemed shattered. Hopefully it doesn't put him too far behind cause he is a very talented player who I think may cover for SKD at right centre should he get injured. Saw him play there for the Junior Kiwis late last year and he was the best back on the field imo.

According to his Twitter feed SKD is in hospital with a lacerated kidney. So I would suggest Henry is taking his place in the team this weekend.

                  I'm going...not by 'choice'.
Wild horses wouldn't keep the little lady away.
The thought of her walking back to her car by herself after the match...[that's if the car is still there, fully expect it to have vanished off to 'rebirthing' land or 'export' container land]...was too much to bear, so I bought two tickets.

Hate the area, hate the ground, hate the idea of no carpark, hate their fans...last time I went to that ground our fans were pelted with half-eaten chickens etc, some female fans in tears.

So I'm basically going as her protection.
I have no big muscles, couldn't fight my way out of a paper bag, so I'm basically relying on luck.

Oh, then there's that 'married couple/loyal husband/go to the footy together and enjoy the day' element.

A car exactly the same as hers was shown on tv in the panel beating company's yard that the cops raided, ...rebirthing, and stolen cars ready to be loaded into the container at the site and shipped off to the Middle East.
That was a few years ago, when the model was new.

bondi-boy, may I suggest parking your car around Sydneham station instead and catching a train to Belmore station. That way your lady's car will be less likely to vanish as you won't be in the area you hate.

It's 5 games mate, long day. We'll run out of cars if we constrain ourselves to just Campsie and Belmore. So Sydenham's in range !

Besides, not much of a market for 2 litre turbo diesel buzz boxes. Much prefer when the Sharks or Sea Eagles come to town. Now those folks know how to pick a car!! V8 Ute smorgasbord ... ker... ching ... !!

Funny man playing beautifully to the stereotypes bondi-boy touched on.
Love your work. Should be a fun day out and I assume you'll be there.

Yes, day starts at 8 at the club, then should get to the ground around 12:30 ish. Can't wait, it's like Christmas. It's fair to say 14 years between home games is too long. No wonder the joint sold out and tickets were only available to members of the 2 clubs. So, that's a pretty strong message.

Starts at 8 eh? Sheesh, you're milking this for all it's worth.
Trust you've previously racked up the brownie points with the Minister for War and Finance to be permitted such a long day out.
Have a great time and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the game when you get a moment.

Yes, we have some formalities in the morning hopefully they rush through them, I say they will considering Des is there.

Don't worry the Minister for War and Finance petitioned strongly against the proceedings however, inevitably my sense of commitment and just plain old belligerence were significant in that petition failing. Should be a quiet week around the Ponderosa next week. So, it's a double bonus for the day !!
