Its the arrogance of the Riffs young punks who act like champions and laugh at opponents face when they score when they've achieved ZERO in the NRL Biggest shithead of all is Looai and as we have seen last year when he chose to give his sledge to Flanno and did it again this year to him and other players he thinks he can take on. In many ways Canberra got a taste of their own medicine because they have been the ones who most ridicule opponents after they score or they win a game. You wouldn't see us, the Storm to an extent or even the rabbits, with the exception of Cody Wanker.

Do I want to see the Riff lose, BIG TIME so Looai and co can FOFF! Mind you, I don't think Nathan Cleary gets up to those antics.

The Panthers behave more like a European soccer team.

crowding , over celebrating , diving are all Panthers traits.

There is a lack of men in the team ,no senior players with Balls , and Ivan too close to the team and his son to have proper control and respect.

      Hard to watch .

Luai started it with his trask-talking Eazy-E head. He got some attention in the media from it because of his "passion"and now a lot of them are jumping on the bandwagon. Even their coach has the arrogance to say bagging the Viking Clap is ok.

People are noticing and they are becoming hated.

Remember at this time last year we were on fire. It's a very long season. Let' see how they are going at the end of it.

I was thinking more about what could have happened. How could a ref send off a player who has been dragged on as the "fourteenth" player?
It was a bit more than that as you can see on the video- I predict already a team not copping it and it will be on for young and old - see how the Riff react then as it wont be 5 or 6 against 1

A volatile mix - Penrith who can't win with class and Canberra who can't lose with class.

A scuffle broke out and even a trainer got involved.

What would be the situation if Tapine punched the Penrith player in the head and knocked him out? He's wasn't on the field and couldn't be sent off or sin binned. I'm assuming there's nothing the ref could do.

I must say the Penrith player deserved a thump. That whole team are showing signs of being a little too cocky. They're playing really well, but their heads are growing to Hindenburg proportions.
I said to my Raiders workmate last Thursday when we were doing our tips, "I want them sliced and diced!" meaning Penrith

Things are bad when I wanted the Raiders to win...

Ugh, we play Penrith near my birthday too at the SCG...I'm gonna be even older and more crankier by then too...

They carry on like Pork chops because they know there is no retribution. Its time someone crossed the line and belted a couple of them.
Their coach too is an arrogant., disrespectful prick. He make comments about his little boy having to miss a week due to concussion that was simply unprofessional.

After talking to a few non chooks mates over the weekend. It looks as though the Panthers are slowly becoming the most hated team in the comp.
they all hated their arrogance and poor sportsmanship

To be fair... bagging the viking clap is okay.

It's so stupid! There's some scripted ad where Papalii stands on the sideline, mesmerising the cloud with perfect rhythm and this huge... 'AAAAH... HEEEEK!!!! [CLAP]'

In reality (I live within a stone's throw of Bruce stadium), there is no 'viking clap' and it's just this stupid thing they play over the PA system (a bit like the horn). It deserves all the bagging it gets.

As a comparison... imagine if nobody actually went '[clap clap clap clap] EASTS!!!' during the game and they just played it over the PA... then in ads we got a picture of Easts fans looking mesmerised as SST stands on the sideline, banging on a drum with perfect rhythm and 'conducting ' the 'Easts clap'. People would bag it. So the 'viking clap' is fair game IMO. I encourage people to call out 'EASTS' and use a different rhythm to stuff up the pre-game noise on the PA.

What Ivan Cleary did to Wests was unforgivable. That has to be a stain on his character forever.

I still don't think the coach is right to endorse it. Could you see Robbo doing that?

To be hated means you are doing well, whether it’s because you’re arrogant, buy the best players, or cheat and manipulate the game, if you weren’t winning nobody would care.

manly are now pitied, I’m sure they would prefer to be hated again.

If there was no drum at the game, there would be no “EASTS” chant either.

nothing wrong with some sort of theatre at the match, if for nothing else, kids love doing it, and 90% of the stadium get involved.

Worse was when he was blowing kisses to the tigers fans, that in itself could incite the crowd and start a problem.

That’s when I turned on him. Childish behaviour. No wonder the team behaves the way they do.
