Currently being live streamed on the NSWRL Facebook page for anyone interested, the ref is absolutely destroying us some unbelievably bad calls going against us.

That Bears second try denied by that ref was absolute shit.

This Bears team is a coach killer, always trying the miracle play

Satini has had multiple brain snaps

Ikuvalu looks good, Suaali got a try but has made a few errors

Josh Ralph has been the best player on the field

            How has Volkman been going?

Volkman was ok and could have iced the 2 points with a conversion with 1 minute to go. Scores 20 all

has a good step, been quiet and has taken a back seat to Ralph however.

Iku just scored to level it 20-20 with 1 minute left, Volkman had a chance out wide with the conversion and shanked it

then tried to kick a 45m field goal and had the length was well wide

Suaalii and Abbey have been great. Santini, great breaks but bombed a couple of tries with pushing a pass. The bears should have won this by 3 tries.

i have no doubt he’d provide good service

however at 5”9 and 78kg would get found out defensively

strength seems to be running and kicking game

Made the trip out to a very windy Bear Park (forgive the kickers). Biggest crowd I've seen there, but these teams still have a great old rivalry. Nick was there.

The one that got away for the Bears, thought they were specials. Had their chances though, and the ref seemed to struggle which stuttered the game.

First half starting props were good, Fifita and the big fella with the tricky name who makes Roosterfarians carpet take flight. Couple of nice offloads too. Not many minutes 2nd half though. 2nd half wingers Iku and Hopoate really pushed the attack and were strong. Josh Ralph very sharp, impressed with him each time. Abbey and young Butch both did some good stuff.

JT needs to find a way to get Volkman and Suaalii more clean ball. They were the two that could have busted it open in the 2nd half.

Maybe a draw is a fair result here, but feels empty for all concerned I think.

Sharks fullback Metcalfe very quick, reminded me of a bigger Luke Sharpe.

Aubo, JWH and Tauks also attended the game

Difficult for us to see the talents of Sualli in reserve grade. I’m yet to see the bloke get any good clean early ball in any of his games.

Bondi United Under 11s went down 30-18 to Carlingdord this morning. For those of you who are interested.

The first game for the Bears this year Hutch probably had the worst game of his life.
Amazing the difference when he played NRL since.
