I just can't get excited about this kind of thing. The Roosters will have less members than last year and deservedly so. But whether the Sharks or Manly have more members my care factor remains non-existant.

Extra money for the club can only be a good thing and it was a massive success last year. Not sure we'll have less members either, we've been in line with our numbers from last year so far.

Didn't Cronulla just give a lot of memberships away in the last week in order to just win last year ?

Memberships are an important step towards a sustainable business model. It's something we need to get excited about, Unlce Nick wont be around forever writing off our loses every year.
