  • Sam Walker is the 2nd coming of Jesus

The best we have ever seen

I don’t like bashing pearce but Walker did something tonight that Mitchell never developed as a player... this kid is special.. what he did tonight in the last 15 was very Cronk like and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 2 game half control a game from behind like that... epic

I saw the 2nd cumming of Tera Patrick once as a teenager. It overshadowed Walker this evening, but only just.

Jarrod straightened 'em up finally. Without him we don't win that one. Kennedy a second Latrell.

Isn't he off contract at the end of this year?

Some teams like the Broncos and Cowboys will already be offering him a million after tonight.

It’s so comforting to know a special player like Sammy Walker will be our no.7 for the next decade at least

Really? Build him into the foundations of our new stadium. Hands off.

You seem very confident that he'll stay long term.

I guess I've just got ptsd after losing two generational talents in RTS and Latrell by the age of 21.

Someone will offer the kid 1-1.2m very soon and then who knows. At this stage though the last thing he needs is to sign with a dud team like the Cowboys or Broncos.

I'm not doubting his loyalty. I guess when you have the best halfback talent since Thurston you want to lock him up for peace of mind.

He's the sort player could define a decade for our great club.

He said in the last couple of weeks he wants to stay at our club long term. Not many players say that.

I’m only confident based on his comments recently on how much he loves the Roosters Club and can’t see himself playing anywhere else..

I think the Latrell case was a little different as by all reports he reneged on an initial contract agreement with Nick which is obviously an error on his part..

But considering Sammy is a halfback and their aren’t many gun halfbacks going around I hope the Nick Politis influence ensures he is a Rooster for the rest of his career..
