Well... very happy to be proven wrong lol. Walker was clutch, JWH direct! But seriously need a real good look at our approach for next week. Or we’ll be put to the sword. I’ll take that win but, yeeeew!

Sorry, my dad jokes are getting worse haha
I don't have Fox and I was thinking WTF..why is my neighbour cheering? We are down 18-6...thank goodness my laptop got fixed this week after it blew the charging port the night before the Rabbits game..hence me not posting on here much these past few weeks as it only got repaired this week..
I've never liked Cronulla even as a child....my old boss from the job I got made redundant from exactly a year ago will be furious as he follows them passionately..he used to crack jokes about Uncle Nick every time I walked past his desk..what a difference a year makes....

Sometimes it is better to view a match through the eyes of an RL fan, rather than through those of an armchair analyst. To whomever said it earlier on, is Walker still the 10 year old half that we don't need? just wait until he gathers more experience and confidence. He has a great step and a great outside boot kick that he has not yet employed in his short first grade career. The future looks great. on a side note. Fletcher Baker was an unused sub again today (he wasn’t used against South’s either).
Any reason for this? Is he carrying an injury, or maybe not quite ready for big/close games

Interesting extract about the game something to watch for the coaching staff
THE BLUEPRINT TO BEAT THE ROOSTERS
They may not have won, but Cronulla offered an insight into how to beat the Roosters in the first half.
It was a game plan they seemed to move away from when they lost Josh Dugan and Wade Graham to concussion, but it was one which was bearing fruit.
Cronulla came to the SCG with a plan. They kicked to Daniel Tupou constantly in the first half to take the attacking threat of Brett Morris out of the game.
With the ball in hand they made a beeline to exploit the Roosters’ little men.
It came good for their second try of the evening with Will Kennedy barging past Walker to touch down.
“In the space of three plays they ran at Sam Walker twice and Freddy Lussick,” Fox League’s Greg Alexander explained.
“They aimed their players at the little men. Kennedy throws a dummy, takes Walker on and goes into the in goal and scores.
“Walker is under 80kg and it’s a tough job defending on the line. Earlier in the set, they had [Josh] Dugan cut back in from the scrum and he ran at Walker.
“He made some metres, he pushed away Sam Walker. Toby Rudolf got it next and went straight for Freddy Lussick and got him going backwards.
“Then they picked out Walker for Kennedy who was able to get over the top of him to score.”
