Certainly he stifles the play, apparently Morts thrived in the minutes at 5/8 & with body guards like FPN who needs size. Also Mitchell tackled the big units so we have no shortage of No 6's, you dont need to be a freak in this position if the team is solid.
The class of RTS will shine through & will be a superstar down the track. Back home my nephew played him many times & always raved about how talented & what a leader he was for his teams.
Next year there will be an abundance of young talent but IMO Sonny will be required for his maturity & leadership, I see him as our Captain & lock.
I just cannot see that happening. He might be a top player but captain?
I just dont think you put him as captain, he is to easily influenced by others IMO.
Im happy if the Roosters have signed him but remember at the end of the day, SBW would walk away again if say he was offered a 3 million dollar boxing match. You couldn't risk him as captain.
Whats the odds we will know lose Cordner and Tasi ??
0%. The money freed up by the departures of Myles, Carney, Ryles, Anasta and Mini combined with the increase in the cap should be more than plenty to cover SBW's salary. The loss of those guys i mentioned would free up approx. $1.5m (Myles 400k, Carney 450k, Ryles 200k, Anasta 300k and Mini 100k) and this is without the increase in the cap aswell, but if for some unknown reason we end up having to shed players i can guarantee you Uncle Nick would find a way of keeping the likes of Cordner and Tasi. The likes of Guerra, Arona, BJ, Symonds etc would be the first out the door.
Pelican, what if Mini and the cold, dead hand of our captain don't retire?
*shudders at the thought of that happening*
Cap space goes from approx. $1.5m to $1.1m which should still be enough to cover SBW's wage, but does greatly increase the chance of the likes of Guerra, Symonds, Arona etc getting the boot. TBH i don't really care if those guys get the boot for SBW because he is a farkin freak of a player, has more talent in his right pinky than anyone in our squad, and is the player we need that would turn us into serious title contenders.
My sources tell me that $BW deal with the Roosters includes two fights a year for $750k each and that there is going to be a massive Salary Cap blowup from other Clubs and officials as a result
That's an interesting point. What about Matt Ballin. He operates a Personal Training business outside of league. It's another profession which he earns money in. Does this money get counted within the salary cap? Letting SBW fight once or twice a year could bring his salary expectations in league down considerably.

It might be different if his Roosters contract contains the clause re; $750K per fight and is part involved in organizing as opposed to Ballin whose work is completely independent of his contract.
Mini will be here for 2 more years. Get used to it.
Melonhead you have been banging on about this "Mini will be here for two more years" in several threads now. Do you know something or are you making shit up again?
