Wouldn't be surprised if they went around for one more year.

It is not out of the question that one or both of them will run around next year.

Bmoz is, hands down, the greatest winger I have ever seen. He has it all - speed, strength, aerial ability, work ethic, strong kick returns, the greatest finisher, an excellent defender, a big game player, and a great teammate.

        I might be in love.

And Jmoz isn't far behind. He doesn't get the same accolades but he does everything right. The only centre NSW had that could go toe to toe with Greg Inglis when he played on the right.

          The ultimate professionals.

The Benjamin Buttons of the league. Like fine wine, get better with age.

Another Trent/uncle Nick masterclass in recruitment.

A premiership would be a fitting way for both to retire.

In 2006 Brett Morris played against Ben Walker. On the weekend he played with Ben Walker’s son.

Most players tend to be great athletes who are footy players. The twins are great footy players and great athletes.

Maybe sign one of them and one retires. They could then share the spot and nobody would know lol.

Luckily the Bulldogs didn't appreciate them much or totally undervalued them otherwise they wouldn't be here.

                  Anyways after 4 rounds:
                  BMoz 9 tries
                  J Tedesco 7 tries
                  J Moz 3 tries
lol @ Barretts attacking bulldogs 3 tries all up.

At this rate, BMoz is on course for 54 tries this season, move over Dave Brown...only 38

Anyone know the season try scorer record since NRL times? Hopefully BMoz can at least beat that.

Fingers crossed they both stay healthy.

I think JMoz's defence is underrated. Very few leaks on his side.

I think we need both of them next year.

When Brett signed, he told me he was going there to play first grade and that he would back himself to be better then that 'pommy winger'. As the year rolled on, whenever I spoke to Slip or his boys they would say how much Brett loved the place and that Robbo was easily the best and smartest coach he had played under. I still think he was close to MOTM in 2019 GF and we would not have won the game without the number of brilliant takes he took under immense pressure in that second half. It's great to have them both at the club together, they are two of the best ambassadors of our game and absolute icons, would love to be able to send them out in the manner they deserve

The first time I met Slippery, I said to him 'You were one of my favourite players back in 87' and he looked at me and said 'naah naah, would have been before that' and I quickly replied, 'mate I follow the Chooks!' We've had a few good chats about the old days and he loves talking about his time as a player. We spoke at length about the 87 season and he loved the fact that I could remember him scoring the match winning try against the Sharks when we were down to 12 men for the entire 2nd half. His two youngest boys are more like him then Brett and Josh, they are both quite small and very quick. The youngest son Dylan, even runs a lot like him

1987 will always be one of my favourite seasons. Players like Brendan Hall, Laurie Spina, David Smith, Tony Rampling, Danny Shepherd and Robert Simpkins had great seasons.

                            Talk about one season wonders!

Tony Rampling was a one season wonder for us-probably only a 1 game wonder because of the 9 games he did play for The Roosters only the game against Manly at Henson stood out.
The rest of the players you mentioned weren't one season wonders-Brendan Hall in particular played his whole career with us.

As for the Morris boys- im amazed at 34 at their performance. Bretts scoring the trys but Josh is such a great reader in defence- i dont think either of them have played better in their long careers

Brendan Hall was one of my favourite players during that tough period aftern 1987. He always gave 100%, even if he couldn't kick goals! And Danny Shepherd's career was cruelly cut short after he was severely dehydrated during an early season game
