            • Those live scores sites drove me nuts - time went backwards - showed 72 gone and reverted back to 68 gone so had no idea how long to go - 26-12 at that stage -

                  • That defence in the first part of that second half won the game - possession was 69 to 31% at that stage - 171 to 146 tackles and 12 to 17 missed tackles in second half- 50-50 possession- shows Chooks had 6 set restarts to 3 for the match

                    • Congrats to the boys with a good bounce back. A lot more intent and focus than last week.

Very pleasing debut for young Sam, couldn't ask for much more really.

Lovin having Vic back. Just straightens our attack and adds that combo of starch and finesse. So important to our year.

Well done Hutch! A try and a good contribution. Well deserved.

Pass the ball Ted! If I'm allowed to criticise him he had at least 3 options to seal a try in that second half. (Lammy got bashed for 3 years missing one of those...)

Oh and...I think I'm in lurve with Brett Morris.

                      3/4 to start the year....woohoo!

                      • A good, solid overall performance, Walker looking calm and composed, great to see Radley back and I still can't believe the slowest man on the field got an intercept try! A great building block of a game and highlights how we are not outta it!

Yep I watched it on Kayo while hanging out with the fam at a model railway (decent outfit... got heaps of rides in).

                              I liked how we:
                              - Played well in the forwards, led by Crichton who has really stood up in Cords' absence.
                              - Adapted our ball playing. I felt that lotsa different guys were chipping in to make up for no Keary/Lam.
                              - Played ourselves into the game. Warriors drew first blood and then got another super lucky try (wasn't a knock-on but he had zero control and was super lucky to have pulled it off). We then stood up right away, earned our way into the contest and shut them out in the second half.

                              • i'm sure i wasn't the only one gutted this week after losing two of our greats but that win was what the doctor ordered. that period when we defended several sets of six and then hit back with a try was as good as it gets.
a lot of great performances and hard not to get excited about walker
