“We’re still rebuilding” Is this a joke? That’s just an excuse shit clubs use when they are shit.

Are you by any chance in your 40s and still living at home? I’m from Bondi too. We should meet up for a coffee. I’ll be at Speedo’s at 1130am today. I’ll be wearing Roosters shorts. Come and say hi. I think I may be able to help you.
We are rebuilding...our hooker against Wests was a skinny rookie kid.
We do have injuries...arguably our best defender and captain Jake is injured and maybe retiring.
    Captain Cordner ...ditto.
Radley is still injured. So too Verrills.
We're still trying to settle on halves.

Quietly confident because on paper we have talent all across. The only position/role they are better is in the halves with having 2 experienced players plus in the kicking department with Reynolds being the best kicker in the comp.

I am concerned with Klein especially more than if it was any other refs because last week he didn't send Kafusi even to the sin bin and has been heavily criticised throughout the week so I'm guessing he will be trigger happy to send someone to the bin, or off, which is why I am concerned with JWHs elbow and niggling habits.

Hard to fathom? Not really, if you consider my list of reasons carefully.
        Our players are not robots.
Bennett team beat us in the 2000 GF.
Bennett team beat us in the 2010 GF.
Bennett team thrashed us in this game last season.

Bennet hasn’t won a competition for a while.

Still with the excuses , we like every club have a 30 man squad . Selected by Robbo and the coaching staff to do a job and they didn't. Same as a kid if you don't own your mistakes you don't grow from them

The day is here. First game of the year against the jealous little brother is always a bit special.

We are ready to rock n roll. Haven't seen us look this sort of lean muscle fitness this early in past seasons. If we were a racehorse you would think.we are ready for an early 'peak'. If we had all troops available this could be a gap job. Could make it closer but more interesting in some ways.

They will try and target our little less experienced guys in the 6 and 9. Our bench lacks a bit of oomph but thats the negs out of the way.

A good track and a fast open game suits us. Please be fair with the dangerous 6 agains Calvin.

Our wingers have an advantage under the high ball. We will try and isolate their flankers esp on the left side with Toups. The short kicking game is crucial as their back 3 can be exploited. Grubbers and half height 'bombs' to the fore. Reynolds will use the grubber no doubt too and needs to be countered.

            Gus motm...Easts by 28.

It's our first real test of the year.
We need this to be a game where our 5/8 contributes, rather than just tackle whats in front of him.
We need to attack on both sides of the field.

Where were you this morning? I waited for you at Speedos.

Not a single new player in our squad tonight is new. All 17 players in our side have been in our side for over 2 years accept J.Morris. There has been no clean out at the club. No new players. “Rebuilding” is a really poor excuse but if we lose and the idea that we are “rebuilding” helps you get over the loss then best of luck to you.

Nothing more joyous than beating them in the GF.

Put up towering bombs to Latrel all night. Chase well and lock him up. That will be his first and last involvement for the set cause he’s a fat lazy bastard. He’s also a chance of dropping one.

Yes would be great to have another attacking threat in the halves and not just have to rely on Keary and Teddy.

                              Gates open 5.25pm
                              First game kickoff: 5.35pm

You think they would give it at least 30mins gates open before first game, with 20k plus crowd expected.

The coach rested players, obviously seeing their tiredness ...so they would be fresh for the finals.
30 players? The top 17 need to play most every game to win a title.
Our players gave their all last season in very trying circumstances.
They were obviously worn out in the finals and couldn't make it to th GF.
Oh, and our 'lethal left side' of 2018 and 2019 was no more.

Surely you're not trying to tell me that Lussick is friend.
