  • Keary's confidence in defense is back

For all his attacking prowess on Sunday, I reckon he looked as good in defense as he has since before his run of head knocks last season. He looked a bit tackle shy for quite a while after those, but I think his confidence has now returned.

He seems to be relishing defending on the right edge, I imagine it must be nice to have your outside shoulder as your dominant shoulder.

Would anyone be that surprised if Keary gets taken out with a late high shot by one of the Souffs tweakers this Friday?

Su'a would befit that role. He's already tried it with Cordner last year I think with a pseudo shoulder charge. He's a grub!
As for his defensive work is very good, but I have to admit that I worry for any collision he has so much so that I brace for the impact.

He has said her prefers defending on the right. He mentioned it in an interview where he was discussing his move to halfback. He played there a lot when he was younger & is very comfortable there apparently.

That is the thing that concerns me in this game. Even tho the NRL has said they will police the headshots, l think the Vermin will try it on. I also think Latts will be trying it on.

The Chooks have got more than enough guys to put hits on Reynolds & Walker. The Roosters can out grub Souths & if Souths wanna go up that path bring it on.
