  • Joey Manu

I thought he was outstanding yesterday and it seems quite obvious that he either has been given a greater license to bob all over the field or taken it upon himself to get much more involved. I have thought in previous years, with the odd exception that he has been too happy to hang out on his right side and wait for the ball come his way, rather than go looking to get himself more involved as a player of his skillset should. A bit of a waste for a player of his calibre.

However in the last 2 weeks it is clear that he has been looking to get heavily involved in attack, coming in occasionally at first or second receiver and the team is benefitting massively as a result. I hope it continues and this helps to take some of the pressure off Keary and Lam in attack.

Maybe he will come out and say he wants to play 5/8 or fullback.

We don't need a Fullback lol.. I hear the Warriors have signed a gun Fullback from the Bronco's system, so that may reduce the chances of them chasing Manu.

Just be wary that both the Tigers & Manly arent much chop where this weekend the Roosters & him come up against a side that is alot better than those 2 teams. I hope he holds his own against Souths.

It seems obvious that Robbo has instructed Teddy, Manu, and anyone else with ball skills to get involved in this new touch footy competition.

He bumped up all over the field because he ran from side to side. I was just impressed with his involvement. Just wait till he links up with someone when he is running sideways. It’s a matter of time before someone runs onto one of those balls.

Teddy was heavily involved in receiving the ball at first receiver last year and has continued again. Sometimes I would rather he hang behind the line a bit more so he can wait for an offload. I also worry when he is constantly changing directions, that he will blow out a knee.

My guess is organised chaos. Keep the opposition guessing with a variation of positions, set moves, ad lib, and different players involved. I can see Rads being as involved and important as Teddy and Keary.

He will have to push Lindsay Collins out of the way after the Wests game.

Joey Manu definetly looks a lot more involved in games this year which is helping our attack immensely!

                            Hope he keeps it going!

Both Teddy and Manu are like vice-five-eighths taking the ball at first or second reciever and getting involved in the attack.

Good thing is that it reduces the pressure on Keary and Lam and allows multiple types of options and creativity in attack. Both Manu and Teddy are unique in their own ways and then you got Keary the little General running around.... but wait there's more

Victor the inflcitor will also return and he has his moments in attack as well ... makes me very excited
