Teddy and keary 100% ,both players by last nights efforts deserve to lead our club this year! Teddy and keary have previously said they would love to get the job. Teddy even wants to captain NSW!, both players perform at there best when the pressure's on!

I always feel like this is one of those things you can just never judge from the outside looking in.

A captain unlike a sport like cricket really has not tactical role to play in a game so I find it almost impossible to judge. It’s all about leadership and the majority of that happens outside of the 2hrs we get to spend watching them play on the weekend.

SST aint 80 minutes, plus he is too nice a bloke.

Teddy strikes me as a someone who is in the mix only because he is an exceptional player. Maybe someone closer to the playing group at the moment could correct me on this but he seems too chill. Then again, i suppose Mini was too. Maybe im being too harsh.

Keary I could back, but does he really need that on his shoulders as well as trying to organise the team anyway? He is like a default VC anyway due to the nature of his role.

We need someone who wouldn't be afraid to give the boys a rocket and will lead by example.

I lean towards Gus. Just the finger story alone shows me he has the right mentality - no holds barred, do whatever it takes. And he happens to be articulate and extremely good at his on field job.

A lot keep saying you need an 80min captain, but even as co captains last year, there were time when we didn’t have boyd or friend on the field. Also SST is captain of his country, so has done it before.

recent and current front rowers captains are Bromwich,tamou,saifiti,James graham,Matt Scott.
some of the greats are Lazarus,civoniceva, webcke, cayless and so on.

I couldn’t give it to Angus until he resigns with the club.
no doubt it will be given to Teddy after having been named origin captain last year.

I agree Teddy and Kez as co-captains. If you had to pick one I’d say Teddy only because Kez has his hands full running the team now and having the full responsibility of captain might be overloading him. Until he’s had time to fully adjust to his new position let’s keep it simple. Co-captains is the way to go and I think Robbo might take that option.
