  • Is Lindsay becoming Chief Pig

Is Lindsay fast becoming chief pig, or is he still the young bull.

His grunt work last night from the restarts was amazing. He took some really hard hit ups and did not relent. Just kept throwing himself into it.

He's becoming a top shelf prop, hope he doesn't end up home sick....

Who didn't love him from day 1?

It's just sad that he fixed the tooth and cut the mullet off - they added to his image.

He is a great sub for JWH who can't go near 80 and is a judiciary magnet.

      I sure did..

Admired the fact he had butter fingers, copped it from the fans.. but worked like a mad man to correct it and has really kicked on since.

Remember watching him a few times on the side line, and his warm up before he ran on was to drop and practice on his play the ball

More and more kick off’s feel like such a stupid way to restart the game after a try.

I love & hate watching this guy bring the ball back from a kick off. There’s enough big collisions in a game of footy that we don’t need to manufacture this one which must be a career shortener in the long run for all props.

            Agreed.
Until Collins regularly go’s on report for rough/grubby play then JWH is still top Cock.

It is what ch9 and a lot of promos focus their attention on when showing off and selling the game. The chief/spud encounters are legendary.

Is it only a matter of time before we lose every collision aspect of the game, and restart games with a ball up like the AFL?

times have changed, and the JWH incident last night just highlights it even more. Majority of commentators are astonished and appalled by the penalty.

Really not sure what the game will be like in 10yrs time.

Probably highlights more so why we're gravitated towards players like Lindsay. He reminds us of what once was and what we're quickly moving away from.

Who can forget Kane Evans dropping Kasiano and the reaction of all the players on the field. Like a bunch of kids with muscles proving how tough they are haha

Jake's put down roots here and I always thought he'd head back home. The winning culture for Lindsay is down here, not up there with any of the current Qld teams. Happy for him to play Origin to represent them but didn't Trent give him one of his premiership rings too? He broke down in tears when Trent made that gesture so I really don't think anyone in Qld can top that. . Then a year later he got another for his efforts.

Not as good a shot as Simon Dwyer from the West Tigers did on JWH.
I was walking my dog down where the West Tigers train 2 Tuesday ago & I actually spoke to Dwyer who works for the Tigers & it’s pretty bloody sad that he only has the use of 1 arm because he has lost complete use of the other arm suffered playing NRL.
                          Lovely man.

                            There’s that word again. “Homesick”.

I think he’ll be alright without his Mummy.
