  • Monday Night Football (Spoilers)

    Wish I didnt watch it:

Tupou playing excellent, great offloads/runs/ several try assists
Sharks improving Points Diff. by 34
Sharks winning & widening the gap between us and last place now 4 points (really 6 with our inferior points/diff)
    Stuart celebrating

We are the only rabble left in the NRL.. The 4 above us are a far distance ahead in terms of ability and what they can achieve this year..

The only remote hope left for us is the Eels, I rate the Sharks, Tigers and Raiders as stronger

We don't play the Eels again this year. We can't get over the line against the sharks (Though we will be competitive), our better chance is July 12 against the Warriors. We should've beaten them the first time come to think of it.

Actually let's go through the draw. After the sharks we have the dragons (That is ugly we could really cop something worse than what we got at Penrith, luckily I will be missing that one, as we have been competitive and not got any reward for effort and the effort probably will drop off, I've seen it happen before with other clubs). Then the warriors followed by the rabbitohs we won't win that, the Knights at Newcastle no, the Tigers at the SFS maybe, the Sea Eagles at the SFS no, the bulldogs at ANZ no, the Storm in Melbourne no, then the cowboys at home no.

So the only realistic possibilities are the Tigers and Warriors. But we may sneak an upset win as late in the year the cellar dwellers usually sneak a few upsets. We'll have a nothing to lose attitude and be like," So what if we get beat, let's see if we can win it anyway". And especially if they are up against a team that has everything to play for on that night (eg if they lose they get knocked out of finals contention) they are likely to win.

And that happened tonight the Broncos had to win to stay in touch with the top teams (they're now 7th), they had everything to play for. The sharks had a nothing to lose attitude, rolled the dice and got home.
