  • Luke Keary - Hamstring Injury (Minor)

    Source: NRL PHYSIO

"Add Luke Keary to the list of hamstring injuries, will not play in this weekends trial match. Injury only considered minor though & provided no setbacks he is expected to be fit for Round 1. Worth remembering highest risk of re injury (up to 10% risk) within the first 2 weeks back"

      My pick:

      Lam at #7
Adam Keighran at #6 + Primary Goal Kicking Duties

This way we can see what Adam Keighran can bring to the table in the halves !

        It's a bugger the Keary/Lam combo won't get a hitout before Round 1.

It wouldn't surprise me if a few of the Bears guys butter up and have a run in the main game off the bench.

Hutcho in for defense. Would robbo go with double the inexperience in the same game? Granted Drew isn't a seasoned NRL player but more than the others?

I can see Walker, Lam, Hutchison and Keighran all getting a run, being a trial. Trent may go with a large squad to give as many people as possible a bit of a hit out.

He better score 3 tries and set up another 5 or people on here are going to want to kill him.

Keighran wasn't even mentioned by Robbo when he was discussing his halves options.

Fitzy alao made it pretty clear he was signed as a replacement for Maubs and has trained predominantly in the centres through pre-season.

Sounds like he is probably 5th or 6th choice half, definitely not next man up.

Makes sense. We are very light on edge forwards.
