With this year gone, Freddy has to look at next year starting this week
Fullback
Minichiello will be FB next year, but for now throw Towers in to give him some experience as he will be our backup, So give him a go until Mini is fit
Wing
Perrett, SKD and Waqa are our wingers for the future, hopefully one will turn into a good centre as i wouldnt like to see any dropped, but for now have Perrett and SKD for rest of year and give Waqa time in newtown to learn more about the game
Centre
Jones is coming along really well and should be kept here, Williamson to be our other, I'd still give Williamson a few more weeks in 20's to get match fit and then bring him in, for now put Soliola in centre as he wont be here next year anyway and it allows others to play in their rightful positions
Five Eight
Todd Carney will be here next year, So we will need someone to fill the void, Foran must be given this job as he will be our backup half next year, this will allow him to be up to speed with our gameplan when he's needed
Halfback
Pearce, future captain
Hooker
Friend is turning into a fine hooker, give him 80mins each game and let him run the team from hooker, this will give Pearce more room to move. J. Aubusson to come off bench next year
Props
O'Meley, Myles, FPN, Paea are the big 4 at the moment and backups JWH, M. Kennedy and Masoe. Myles and O'Meley have to be our starting props, 2 old nuts that will have a dig early, FPN and Paea to come on after 20mins to raise the tempo, Weather we win or lose will be on these 4 shoulders, they have to stand up

Cherrington on left side, Symonds on Right, these 2 are the future of the club and have been outstanding, let them play as many minutes as they can and have A'hern or Sa (if he can get his attitude back) on the bench to come onto either side of the field
Lock
Fitzy for rest of year although playing less minutes, M. Aubusson on bench to replace him, Mitch is future at lock but i think Fitzy deserves to go out in the starting team after all hes done for us

Im not sure where that leaves Anasta to com back in, if we dont sign Carney it will be 5/8 if we do it will be lock, although i'd rather have Maubs there

O'meley may or may not be hear next season, regardless, i would have Myles and Frank paul as starting props.

These 2 always lay a good platform for the halves at the begining of a match, also frank can be good for some early second phase play, catch the defence off guard early.

I agree to an extent, FPN does lay a good platform but O'Meley cant raise the tempo, hopefully ogre will not be here next year and we could see Myles and FPN with Paea and Kennedy

Minichiello is Minichiello, he was the best player going around when he played FB and he will be given the jersey once again. i am probably the biggest fan of Perrett, but i cant see Minichiello not being given the number 1

Most importantly, I hope that Fittler is just keeping the seat warm for his successor and won't be there next year.

More than anything else, we need a coach who can actually develop and improve the roster that we have.

Under Fittler, the players we have bought have gone backwards, and our young talent is stagnating and not developing to their true potential.

The Club needs to put together a coaching and development structure that actually heeds results.

Jones, had done nothing before this year and over the past few weeks has really blossomed, hes started getting plenty of ball and more importantly his given SKD plenty of ball and we've looked very dangerous down that side
FPN, Was a fringe newtown player before really hitting his straps this year, is now our 2nd best prop behind Myles
Symonds & Cherro - Both have taken there potential to 1st grade and delivered, i dont think we've ever had to young 2nd Rowers with as much potential as these 2
Friend, a standard 20's hooker, took a few games to get into rhythm but now starting to steer the side around the park well
