Thats probably around a $9 million dollar windfall on the current Sydney home price medium.
Raiders are paying $10. I'm not a betting man (and would never bet on a result that means I'm set to win money from us losing). However, I reckon they've got a better chance than the favourites (Pemriff at $4.50) and Souffs ($6 with us).

That said, their 5-man strip advantage (cough... cheats!!!) and raw anger about being 'robbed' will both run out eventually.

No, but I wouldn't put it on the Panthers at 5.00 either. I guess my point is that Moley's belief in our imminent demise is not shared by people who are betting their houses on the premiership.

Yes we have a couple of weaknesses, but I challenge anyone to name a better starting 17.

The Storm have lost Smith and their best forward in Tino. The Panthers lost their two most experienced props.

I think we can make serious ground on both. Otherwise I think only the Souffs filth are on our level.
NAS is better than Tino at the moment......but i think.that will.change in the future

I admire the positivity, and we do have a great squad, but an objective man would have us finishing 5th-6th this year with a GF appearance unlikely.

Key players have aged too much and will be a little off the pace with the way the game is adjudicated these days - not to mention much more injury prone (Mozz x 2, Friend, JWH).

Cords, in all likelihood, is gone for the season. I'm not convinced he'll be back reading between the lines.

Our success in 2021 is going to boil down to one man IMO: Keary. If we make the GF, it's going to be largely on the back of his influence steering the team around and taking a stronger leadership role overall.

Well said ISM. I can’t stand our so called supporters who bet on the opposition just to compensate themselves in case we lose. No amount of money is going to cheer me up after a Roosters loss.

I agree with your analysis but I’ll add Teddy along with Keary as the key to our success.

I believe that the Mole is correct in part. Giving away penalties compound the effect of the new 6 again rule and give added strain to an already ageing roster

JWH and Flanagan were one and two, in the league when it came to conceding penalties last year..

Get on punters. Joey has tipped us to miss the top 4.

Its only an opinion, if he said roosters are going to be this years premiers the majority here would be saying he is a good judge.
Before season kick off there will be 25 so called experts giving their opinion on who will win with 12 different teams on who will be premiers.

Obviously the teams I have in my top 8 are based off there strongest playing roster, any of those teams loose a few stars long term and that changes everything.

I feel we are a top 4 team and the finals are a different ball game, go into the finals just as the team peaks and you are halfway there.
If we get there with few injuries we can win it but loose the guns we won't be a chance ......... just like every other team.

With both the Mole and Andrew "Joey" Johns tipping us for a dud year, my confidence of a good year has dramatically increased.

Pretty sure cords is packed and ready to join the Roosters 2 week training camp up at mullumbimby. Make of that what you will?

                              Doesn't really mean much mate.

I guarantee you he is just about done and it'll be a miracle if he gets clearance to get on the park this year.
