Word is his future at Dragons is iffy, could be a good replacement for Friend while Verrills develops. Thoughts?

A player should always be developing and improving their game- I don't think Cameron Smith would ever think he was the finished product as an NRL player. He would have worked on his game every year to improve and enhance aspects of it.

Same for any team sport as what worked one year may not the next as oppositions are pretty good at finding weaknesses in opposition players and exploiting these. Need to stay ahead of the game as they say - practice practice practice

Very good player, such a hard worker, and courageous. I would have loved to see him in Easts colours if we got him as a junior. But that boat has sailed. He would be great for the Warriors, or the Titans, or Newcastle, plenty of clubs, but not us.

thats a surprise I thought their current hooker was supposed to be a future star. I guess he wanted to stay in the area, he would have made a great captain for the new Brisbane team, Maybe Friend will get offered the job when it comes up in 2023.

No surprise as i posted earlier- I would say from other reports " No confidence in the Coach" that it is more than likely he will be at the Sharks in 2021 and not 2022

Morris has coached the Sharks to finals footy 2 out 2 times so he can't be that bad as a coach - Also a 300 gamer in the NRL- They seem to have their main players injured or suffer injury when on a bit of a roll. The Sharks will be chasing Fitzy hard though to replace him as the Sharks NRL coach as Morris wasn't granted an extension past 2021.- Seems he upset some of the overpaid under performing players with some home truths

And how, mate..

The Sponsors thing is interesting as that will be the big'un if V'Landys rolls over and plays dead.

But SBW even taped over his teams sponsors logo for his religious beliefs! In both UK and Oz. And yet had the red carpet rolled out for him anyway by media and hierarchy alike.

And Izzys employment is terminated and reputation trashed for....just quoting his book of faith....thats a wow!
