They play for obscure one off bragging rights, we play for premierships.
Agree wholeheartedly but that night remains one of the most embarrassing occasions as a supporter.

Seriously, it means SFA to us...a nothing club game that we were pretty half assed about and got what we deserved with a lopsided result.

What is very very funny though is many Souths fans now bring that one irrelevant scoreline up as a trophy moment, amidst our modern times dominance of the game and them, for all to see.

They see straws, they clutch. Bit sad but funny too.
      It is.
When the Roosters beat them 62-0 you loved it & so you should of & if we had of beat them 60-8 you would have loved that too. They are trophy score lines.

Probably the most embarrassing moment for me as a Roosters fan . To see so many players give up and fall of tackles with no effort . It will stay with me forever unfortunately

I slept through the whole thing therefore it didn't happen. I had gotten up early on the Saturday to catch the bus to Bondi Junction and then walk to my accountant's at Randwick and counted several Bunnies fans on the way. I stopped in at Nicks my hairdresser in Charing Cross for a quick post mortem (he was shattered) and ran into him again on Carrington Road on my walk back...still shattered..still running into Bunnies fans..and people wonder why I don't watch many games live..why torture myself?

I should have know something bad about to happen as just before kick off I was eating a pizza and a chilli ( that was not meant to be on my pizza ) absolutely burnt the shi.. out of my insides.
