Anyone know how the boys are tracking?? Club has been fairly quiet with the training pics this pre season. Yet to see JS training but how good to see some of the origin boys back at training

I think they may be trying to keep the training pics limited until they official launch their new merch range? The club posted a sneak preview today with the new manufacture with some of the training gear. Pics featured teddy, jmoz, toops, butch, JWH, Manu, Gus and the wonderful sight of Rads in full flight.

and Suaalii has been training - saw on Facebook a fan took a pic with him recently.

word going around too is that Cordner will be rested for half the season so don’t expect to see him feature much/if at all at pre season while he takes some time off.

Yeah the new training gear looks a little bland this season IMO, very similar design to last season.. I wonder if Castore will touch up our jerseys.

Yeah looked a bit boring to be honest but I suppose I rather a clean look than a design that is too busy - but that seems Castore’s style from the other stuff they have. Let’s see as they release more but the polo is also quite plain. Maybe they had to rush this season due to the handover - it’s quite late to release and they missed the Christmas sales window.

Hopefully they will do minimal to the home jersey but I assume we will have a new away design which will be interesting to what they come up with - we may just end up with a plain white jersey

I took JWH for 2 hours of hill sprints up Awaba St the other day (aka the 'Balmoral Burn' from Balmoral Beach to Spit Road). Made him drag my luxury model Subaru Outback up there too, making sure he didn't scratch the paint.

Afterwards we went back to fundamentals, with him polishing my car full Miyagi style... wax on, wax off and shyte.

Robbo called me up for this task as JWH was looking soft after spending too much time in Mosman. Inside word is that JWH rated my session and has pushed for Nick to put me on a special off the books contract as their sprint coach. Told him it'd be tough parting with my Subie but I'm willing to settle for a Porsche if it's for the greater good.

Better make sure you have at least one hand free for giving direction on were they should sprint to

Has been training with the Edges so looks like Wing/Centre for Little Joe Joe.

depends on what happens during the season if he get through the period up to SOO he would more than likely be selected by Fittler.

Chooks would i assume be looking at his concussions to see what can be changed in his game to avoid /reduce the possibilities of concussions.

I don't recall many of his concussions resulting from head clashes with opponents or own players so if this is case his game could possibly be modified.

I know they say he leans with his head when confronting the defence when in possession - so maybe this can be corrected and he runs more upright.
