Interesting article about the draw for each team - apparently the Chooks have the equal 3rd hardest draw(Knights the "easiest" ) with the fewest 7 day or more turnarounds (12) Dogs with 18 have the most- 13 out of 24 matches against 2020 finalists. Broncos with 15 matches out of 24 against 2020 finalists have the most and the Knights with 10 the least.

Toughest stretch


The Roosters' tougher games are fairly well spread out but they have a challenging run into the finals. Over six weeks they host the Eels, Panthers and Rabbitohs and travel to Brisbane, Wollongong and Canberra. They have two five-day turnarounds in the final month.

You would have to think that most of those teams would make the 8 plus the Roosters & hopefully the Titans.

While it is good that it is not the toughest draw, it is not surprising that it is one of the more difficult and challenging ones. I hoped that we might have received a better rub of the green now that we are not the premiers anymore, but it doesn't seem to have made much difference. I cannot remember when we had a relatively easy draw. Anyway, this is just another constraint to face this season.
