I doubt if anyone would question the talent of the pair. The judgment on Easts part is about their attitude and mental toughness. And its obviously a tick.

Yeah, agree with that Jacks Fur Coat . Probably the reason I doubt Sitili is that aspect of absolute desire and mental toughness. It's hard to judge that from the stands and as you say, the club obviously gives him a tick so that's good enough for me.

IMO neither woulda signed contracts of that nature unless they had the feeling they were gonna play some footy. Other clubs would be after both of 'em & probably capable of guaranteeing them starting spots.

Opposition fans to whinge in 2yrs time how we manage to fit these guys into our cap whilst they're no where to be seen right now.

The club do a really good job of locking up these guys who are sitting in and around the 1st team right before they enter their peak.

Highlighted by Lindsay Collins signing a 4yr deal back in 2019. His value must have quadrupled since.

Compare that to Penrith who have done a terrible job, with their squad currently being picked apart.

Imagine having Crichton coming off contract at the end of 2020. That'd be like Latrell having come off contract and hitting the market at the end of 2017.

Very poor roster management.
