      I dunno about his defence stats its not like they had to do a great deal of tackling in the game. He looked sensational last night but he came on at a time when NSW were cooked after so much defence, I will reserve my judgement on how good he is for now. I like to see them do it at both ends of a match

      I do agree with Thirteens assessment of Steve Walters he was a brilliant hooker

        Agreed. I think Skelator injected him into the game perfectly.

          Smith is an excellent player, but not the GOAT.

          His longevity is due in part to rarely being the first man in to tackle. He is often second or third man in. He is probably the most intelligent player ever, little question about that IMO.

            At the moment, Grant is better than Sam, but I am looking forward to the latter getting back in 2021. He is certainly worth persisting with, that's for sure. He will be a good player, in time.
