one thing out of origin was jake playing lock while grant was at 9. if it means we can play him and sam in the same team i reckon it's worth a go at the roosters.

What I noticed was Jake was subbed for Grant who then killed it then Jake came back on & played dummy half & Grant was nowhere near as effective, I then noticed that Grant went back to dummy half & Jake played lock. I dont like the idea of playing 2 nuggets in the middle, I like 3 big mofo's & 1 nugget playing in the middle.

Lets face it - here are the obvious team selection blunders that Freedy made with NSW, that need to be attended to if he ever wants to win another series
Payne Haas - overrated and overhyped by the channel nine commentators. Brought his "lose at all costs" attitude from the Broncos into the NSW camp. Needs a few more years to develop into an SOO prop, as the stats don't lie - he was lucky to run 100 metres with the ball over 2 games, which is pathetic.
Damien Cook- Lightweight hooker in the frontrow who lets the rest of the forwards down by conceding metres in defence. Suited to touch football and games ref'd by Sutton and Cummins and their abundance of 6 again calls. Unsuited to tough games like origin. The attempted tackle leading to the Papali Try in SOO 1 was laughable. Embarrassing footballers don't deserve a run in SOO.
Cody Walkabout. Plenty of comments here and was MIA in big games again, just like the prelim and semi against the roosters in 2018 and 2019 , and last years 1st SOO game. Now adds the failure in SOO3 2020 to his repetoire. At 30 years of age, needs to be booted out of the SOO squad forever.
Nathan Cleary - what do I say about him . Speed , pace, sidestep, evasive skills are just a few things he doesn't have. When he gets the ball, I find it more exciting to go out in the backyard and watch the grass grow. overrated and overhyped by the press, and his claim to fame for the Dally M Medal . He is Boring, and a long as Penrith have him at half, they won't win a premiership.
King Gutherson- Did he threaten the line in any of the 3 SOO games? When he gets the ball, I sit on my seat, sip on the jack daniels and sigh. Time for a breather, and wait for the next play the ball, when something could happen Out of position in the centres, and it shows.
Jack Wighton. Looked like a live fish ,washed up onto the Bondi sand , during the whole series. The centre experiment failed dismally. Has to go back to 5/8., forthwith.

It was criminal that CC medalist and the most explosive attacking player in the NRL , Paps, did not get a run. Same for Lomax. Tom Turbo is a must next year. NSW have the best personnel - backline and forwards by far.. We should dominate the series, not lose it.

Freddy needs to get through (what seems to be) his thick skull that having players out of position will not win you critical games. Team of champions vs. champion team and all that.

Despite the outcome, I am pleased for Jake and Lindsay.
