to answer the question posed earlier, I’m delighted with the signings and hopefully Verrills will sub for friend and both can have an injury free and productive season.

Smart signings. Most pleased only 1 yer contracts. I see all retiring or leaving if wishing to continue their careers

Good decision to re-sign all three players. Friend especially since now we can ease Verrills back into the side next year. Hopefully, Billy Smith and Christian Tuipolotu can learn a lot from the Morris' and will be ready to take over in 2022 should the Morris' retire.

After seeing Friend play a massive role in QLD's narrow victory (frankly... against a bunch of Pemriff, Faders, Parra and Souffs grubs) I'm very comfortable to see him re-signing with us.

I'm obviously happier when NSW win but seeing Jake play against 'us' provides a whole new perspective. Have to say... he's much scarier than Smith when he plays that ball running game. Jake was making big meters by picking off holes and running straight! (Presumably holes left by Cook... a hole running rake with less of a defensive game). Never thought I'd say this about a QLD player but he was brave! Massive effort there.

I reckon if the twins were able to win a premiership together and Josh finally got to lift the trophy, they’d be retired now. They both have ailments that aren’t going away and this season seemed long, let alone next season.

Jake too, I suspect he has serious nerve damage in his shoulder and arm with the amount of defence he gets through, his days are numbered. Also coupled with the two talents coming through, his paycheck could pay for them.

Being such champions make it harder to enact
              ..it’ll be interesting to see

Given what they'll be earning, who would you want in place of the twins? They'd be on around the same as an Anthony Don or Tim Lafai. Just immense value for money.

And if we were playing a GF tomorrow I still wouldn't trade Bmoz for any winger in the game. His 2019 GF performance was legendary and in the big moments there's no outside back I trust more.

                  All 3 are great re-signings.

Just on Jake ; his "less is more" style of play last night - where he astutely and infrequently picked his moments to run and didn't kick on the 4th tackle - led to his best game since the 2018 GF. That's the formula, Jake. More of that please.

                    Tommy...

Maybe it's you... Maybe it's the weed...

But that whole wanting more, of the less is more analogy has got me mind f#@ked.

All I'm saying, more or less, is I want more "less is more" from Jake; lest he deviate more from this plan, which would make us a lesser team more often.

I too am pleased with these signings.

The one year terms are appropriate in all three cases.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
