As has been mentioned on at least a dozen occasions, Kyle was dropped for Lam and had Lam not got injured and continued showing the same form and improvement, I doubt if Kyle would’ve played another game for the Roosters this season.

My info - from the horse's mouth - is that Flanagan was not a good fit with the rest of the squad. Didnt socialise. Preferred the company of his father, while the rest of the boys were doing things together.Originally posted by Ivan Benko View Post
There must have been other underlying issues that we are not privy too, besides his form.If we got rid of him for his form, than what's Butcher doing still at the Roosters
Perhaps this is what Robbo meant following the Canberra loss when he said, "I failed to bring them together."

Probably not the best year for being the new kid to run an elite established team like the roosters...how much socialising could they actually do this year also?Originally posted by Tom Verlaine's Ghost View Post

But I’m cool with the move... I was looking forward to seeing Lam get more time until his injury .. more dynamic and a local boy!

Yeah TBH I like that we say no more about such things and allow such players to get a decent gig elsewhere.Originally posted by Kelvin Johnson View Post
Either way spot on.
Mentioned he wasn't the right fit some time ago. Takes a while for the penny to drop with most people on here.
IMO we'll never know exactly why he wasn't the right fit and that's why we're a class outfit. Literally nobody besides those within our four walls needs to know about such things.

The way I see walker when he is playing he has brains on brains ..should develop into a championOriginally posted by King Salvo View Post1 mill 3 year deal for Flano - this kid better be as good as your all saying though(Walker) or Lam has to step up - SST kicking goals??Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

Flanagan is such and average player, so glad we got rid of him. While I understand he is still developing, to me he does not show any attacking guile, has an average long kicking game . To me his ceiling is pretty low. Even in Walkers few games you can see the potential, that’s all it is at this stage but it’s still excitingLast edited by RoosterBooster; 04-02-2021, 05:27 PM.

Some Gonzo said Robbo should fall on his sword if Flanno proved it was an error to get rid of him. The same Gonzo said exactly the same when we got rid of Pearce for Cronk.Originally posted by The Sack View PostTo think some people on here wanted him to stay at the Roosters and were critical of the club for letting him go. Just goes to show some have no idea. Walker’s on!
