Not one run in a final. Not even one.

It makes us so easy to defend against.

Not one run. Nothing in attack.

That's why he was dropped before. Despite goalkicking it's probably why he will be dropped again.

I think he is gone also. Robbo dropped him to work on a specific part of his game. In the biggest game of the year he failed to even attempt to bring something in attack. Lam, you're up !!!

Like I said yesterday when we scouted him last year to replace Cronk surely his lack of running game was noticed by Trent and the recruitment staff..

Watching him last year for Cronulla it was obvious that he was slow and not a ball runner.

So I can only assume their were other strengths to his game that outweighed his lack of running that we decided to sign him.

      Unfortunately he isn’t the answer!

Seems a bit like a deer in the headlights at the moment. Not sure the alternative is much better though.

He may be a hog but at least he will run and take some pressure off Keary. Too easy to defend us with a half that won’t take on the line.

Goalkicking would be a massive worry though. What a predicament.

Yeah the goal kicking is a dilemma. No one wants to watch SST trying to kick a goal to win a match

The loss of goal kicking has to be outweighed by the benefit of not having him there, surely. TKO can play 80 at lock if we're desperate

Can’t drop Flanno. You can’t go into an elimination final without a goal kicker.

he wasn't the reason we lost last night. he's been good enough this year and there's no need to panic.

a goal kicking half ... perhaps we should've brought back Jimmy Maloney from Europe instead of SBW ?.

I’d like for someone to point out just one game where Lam killed it and I’ll watch it to see if I can see what some are seeing! That’s Lam Jnr!

                        Bring back the jersey kisser.

Perhaps Flannery played to the Coach’s plan?? I don’t know but he is our kicker and that counts for something.

Lam looks solid. Has a habit of hogging and gives effort every game.

Problems to solve for by next week.

Next year, will Sam Walker (who looks skinny) be ready with no 2020 game time?

I thought he was good in the Dragons game. Seemed to link with Keary well, wasn’t afraid to play both sides of the field & kicked well. The tempo he plays at really suits our game and he seems more of a natural footy player, does put a lot of pressure on Keary to do the bulk of the organising though.

                            50 touches, 10 carries, 1 line break assist & 1 try assist.

Asking for a game where Lam has killed it when he has only started 2 first grade games in the halves is a bit disingenuous, but you are right it’s a big risk. I’m not sure how Flanagan bounces back after last night, he wouldn’t be the first rookie halfback to go missing in their first finals game so does Robbo accept it as part of his development and hope that he learns from it or do we need to move in another direction.

It’s a massive call, one I don’t envy for Robbo because neither may turn out to be the “right answer” and he’ll be criticised either way for it depending on which side of the fence you sit.

I don't see it either, I have always been of the opinion that he was a reserve grade standard player at best.
