SBW is such a gentleman that he probably put his hand up & told Robbo that the others deserve a spot ahead of him. He's an honest guy & knows where he's at in terms of match fitness, speed & conditioning at the moment.Comment

It's a shame he's out, but the world isn't going to fall in.
Butcher is a handy replacement. I am not exactly his biggest fan, but he will go out and not disgrace hinself tomorrow night.
I like to see other players get some game time, especially in the finals. It will add to our depth and experience.MRR or Rabid

Butcher and SBW are different players. SBW can win you a game with his involvement in attack, whilst Butcher is a solid defender. The extra defensive reinforcement will be useful against Penrith’s big middle forwards.Comment

Fk me dead, the hate for Butcher from some of the morons on here is well out of proportion to the guys ability.
Butcher is a very young, solid, defensive middle forward who still hasn't matured physically.
Mentally he is quite asture.
He isn't a ballplaying second rower with a once-in-a-generation physique like SBW. Having said that, i wouldnt say SBW has set the world on fire at all in 2020.
Butcher is a good player and he'll do a good job for the team.
There are plenty of other blokes there in the side for the flashier stuff.

The only major influence either Butcher or SBW could have on this game is to lose it for us. Butcher is much less likely to do that given what SBW showed in defence in his few games since coming back.
If we get to tomorrow and Maubs still isn't in the team, Robbo has lost it.Comment
