If you were Robbo what would you be focusing on this week for the upcoming game vs Penrith i.e What the Roosters need to do in their game plan and what they need to do to combat Penrith's game - Obviously defence will be a key focus - ruck/middle/backline defence both sides/ defending kicks through the defensive line as well as limiting mistakes/penalities/6 again's.

One thing I would like to see is Cleary being either pressured when he does a bomb in our 20 or charging it down on every occasion. It frustrates me when I see teams letting the attacking half put the bomb up without any pressure and they place it where it suits them which usually ends up in a try for them or a repeat set because the defensive side catches the bomb and has been pushed back behind the try line.

They have to be primed for WAR. Possibly defend their lives and win 4 - 0, play patient and smart, don't gamble on any 50 -50s to come off for us.
Shut them down, hopefully some luck will come our way and know that if we hang in long enough, we will generate some of our own over the 80 minutes.
Every game is a GF from now on in, that's why I believe we fell away last week, they knew it was coming and I bet Robbo learnt ALOT about certain matters.
See yas Friday,

Just show the players a picture of the Panthers celebrating with the JJ Giltinan shield and say:
“look at these blokes, carrying on like they’ve won the whole thing. Let’s teach them a lesson. Show them who’s the best”
That’s what rugby league coaches do, isn’t it?..it’ll be interesting to see

1/ Disrupt Cleary and Luai. Pressure from our inside defenders could force them to run sideways. If we can achieve that, it will obviously nullify the effectiveness of the likes of Crichton and Kikau.
2/ Kick deep. Turn their big boys around all day. Attacking kicks - Toops is a little taller than Toó so that appeals as an opportunity.
