Anyone else venturing out to Campbelltown on 18 Feb?

I thought I'd go to the Foundation Cup at Campbelltown on 18 Feb as I'll be out that way in the arvo anyway, visiting my father.

Being born and bred out there, I have attending various games at the ground over the years, long before the Wests affiliation. And it's always been an 'experience' mixing it with the locals at the footy. Especially when I am usually the one supporting the 'opposition'.

Not to mention that when I was a youngun it was the oval where my school held the athletics carnival every year. So I get to reminise about my lack of athletic ability and being forced to enter at least one event by some bloody overbearing PE teacher who had a perverse sense of humour and enjoyed publicly humiliating their students.

But I digress.

Anyone else planning to make the trip to see our lads in their last hit out before we encounter the Vermin?

The only time I see Campbelltown is when I fly over it going to China

Agreed, I'd rather it was at the SFS myself. But the powers that be have nominated Campbelltown in 2012. I suspect it will be Leichhardt in 2013.

just met with my mate who's now preparing special diets for the dogs , he told me Des is not fielding his stars against us on the weekend because hes heard some of our new young guns are monsters and might damage his top players! naturally i had to get a tkt after hearing this!
