You gotta get off the shit or get striaght back on it. SKD is a myth. One good year and he gets signed to a long term contract, and the rest is history. If he has another year like he did last year he will be history too.

Deep, very deep...ANY player who is injured at any time is pretty much history, while your about it get on your horse with players like Kennedy, Aubusson, Cherrington, Masoe, FPN, Perrett etc

My confidence is with the club & it's faith in SKD to realise his potential as a regular top notch centre over the coming years. Had they listened to the likes of you, Ryan Cross would have been history after those broken legs....we all know how good he was, once he recovered & confidence returned.

Mal Meninga was written off after those years of broken arms until he came back & smashed us (& Trewella) in the major semi then went on to a glorious career.

His lack of tackling ability, defensive positioning and the fact that he can't draw and pass or throws wild passes when he should just take tackles far outweighs the amount of tries he scores.

Before his one and only decent year (only because he scored a few tries) the excuses were that he didn't have the proper training even though he was in the top grade for three years. Last year it was the Carney factor that he failed and now the groin. If I see him try to grab someone's jersey this year and they palm him off for a try, he can piss off because he will never learn one of the fundamentals of being a good centre and always be a defensive liability.

I'll be happy with Moga and SBW in 2013 if SKD fails again this year.

SKD will come good this year, yes he does have problems with handling and lacks ball playing ability sometimes but I wouldn't swap him for any other centre because on his day he is unstopable. SKD and Moga will be a lethal centre combination in years to come and I believe we can build our backline around those two, Pearce and Maloney. Greg Inglis had a shocker of a season last year but do you think South Sydney fans are rubbishing him and debating his future? I think not.

As deep as the hole in your head. SKD can't tackle, has never been able to tackle and is one of the dumbest players in the NRL. He has been at the Roosters for several years now, has one good year and you are trying to compare him to Meninga and Cross. Get your hand off it and give yourself a slap.

I think you're suffering from the coxsackievirus.

Yes, I know, an extremely cheap and quite simply so far beneath me it's not funny joke but I am a weak, spineless man.

I don't recall Meninga being written off too often in his career.

I'm sure he played busted plenty of times.

So he's just like most other centres in the comp.

One good year, **** that saying is overused more than Souths fans telling everyone this is our year.

SKD had always shown potential, in 2010 he found his position and made it his own. That's why he was signed to a long term contract, whether you agree with it or not it's a fallacy to say he was signed to a long term contract on the basis of one season.

He sure has showed potential at the Roosters. Potential to continually drop balls, miss tackles and mess things up big time. He was at the Roosters for at least 2 or 3 years before 2010 and did nothing. He has one good year and bingo, he has hit the jackpot and signed a long term deal - big mistake.

Do you honestly think that if he had had another shocker year in 2010 he would have been signed to a long term contract. Methinks not.

SKD should be sponsored by Araldite for his handling and Kandos for his defense.

Old school mate. Beau was a local junior & played all his life their so of course he is more highly thought of than Inglis.

Inglis still has done nothing at Souths so far. I actually said when he signed that we have seen the best of Inglis because he will never be that good at Souths.

But I do agree with you he is an idiot. He go's for Souths enough said.

If he has a big season I believe we can have a decent year.

Another poor season could leave question marks over his value to the club.

Less dumb penalties and silly errors and more tries and line breaks please.

                                Easts to win.
You're a hard task-master Vasco, S.K.D. from my memory has been our top try scorer since he started playing for the team, most of his tries were scored off his own instigation, unlike most members of our team who rarely managed to break opposition defenses. Carney just did'nt bother turning up to play last year leaving him posted with no clean ball and having to come infield looking for ball, I do'nt know if he will receive better service from any no. 6 this year but can only hope.
