I would never want or wish for a loss, but I would be okay if we had a close defeat. The wake up call would do us some good and remove any risk of complacency. I believe in the importance of team psychology in footy and sport in general. Anyway, we are not in that position, so it is merely a hypothetical situation. (We still hold the record with 19 wins I think, don't we?)

I would probably prefer to play Penrith in week one of the finals, but I think it will be the Storm.
    MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Cleary is becoming a great half , he is the best defensive halfback since Johns he hits like a backrower.
He possesses an all round kicking game with a huge boot and he has a deft touch that can get numerous repeat sets. He has the big torpedo bomb or the pinpoint one he can land on a dime plus his a gun goal kicker.
This year he has come into his own as far as guiding the team around the park and he is ultra competitive as he has shown by the way he dives on loose balls.
His not afraid to take the line on as all good halves do.
I expect him to play rep footy for a long time and a halves combo with Keary and Teddy out the back will give Queensland nightmares in origin.
Penrith are the real deal and not to be taken lightly and I'm sure we will have to beat them at some stage in the finals if we are to get the three peat.

Atleast we can put a line through Parra. That performance from Moses last night was hopeless

I truly don't care who we play or when . If we are fit , have close to our best team in we can beat any team in the comp. To be the best play the best , scared of no one .

Parra missed 40+ tackles. Panthers had 60+ tackles in Parra's 20M zone. 70% of the game was played in Parra's half. They scored off a bomb, a lazy defensive read by Fergo one minute before half time and a soft try one minute before full time. Parra didn't test Panthers defence once in 80 minutes. If the Roosters or Storm had that luxury what would the score have been? Souths put a 38-0 score on Parra a couple of weeks back ffs. Penrith have played some weak teams and looked a lot better than they were. The Roosters, Storm and Raiders will eat them.

Some people could be forgiven for coming to that conclusion given what they see happening.

I like Cleary but he's never taken this form to Origin. Hoping he can do it this year.

Penrith have had a wonderful draw. No second game with the top four teams from last year and all of those games played at home. They have beaten us on the first round, as if that wasn’t going to happen, but if we meet them in the finals, they will feel the pain of defeat.

I believe Flanno will be as good as Cleary in a couple more years. He has played 20 FG games wait till he has played 75 to 100 FG games.
