They are the two toughest guys we have, no one gets over the top of them.

They are massive humans. They should be tough. Jake is by far the toughest man we have.

If we win tonight does that lock in 4th, given and for and against?

          Nope.

If we lose our last 2 and Canberra win their last 3 they will knock us out of top 4.

No disputing Jake's as courageous as they come but I'd rather face him in a blue rather than Jared or Cords.

Some people are talking about Cordner retiring early like he doesn't get a say in it and will be happy to retire if the club asks him too.

If a doctor strongly encourages the roosters or Boyd for that matter to retire for his own well-being you’d think we’d take the advice rather then sending him out there in harms way.

What’s wrong with Boyd that’s gonna make him retire?

I am happy and become used to letting Boyd have late July off every year. We can manage his workload and continue his career.
                    ..it’ll be interesting to see

Agree, though I think it's important we also look at developing whoever his replacement will be. Injuries are affecting him and it'd be better to be safe than sorry. Not saying he's going to retire, but it is a slight concern.

Cordner has been retiring for the last 5 years. He had three knee recos early in his career and has always had knee issues that have been managed well. His head knocks are no concern. His presence is priceless to us especially come semis and we have cover for him when he needs a rest during the year. I can see him play until at least his current contract ends.

                          Ditto JWH.

Jarred and Boyd are big guys who take on big guys. Jake is a small guy who takes on big guys. They are all tough but I think the little guy who takes on the big guys is tougher than the big guys who take on the big guys.

JWH out is a huge loss. Our win percentage usually drops when he’s out.

agree, he'll miss a few games a year with the way he plays. but the club manage him well, I see no reason he'll retire early.
