Rapana has always been a grub as has his ex partner on the right side BJ leilua.
Karma bit them on the arse in the grand final when BJ hogged it and threw it forward to blow a try and their hopes of winning the big one.

Rapana is the dirtiest player I've seen in my time following the game. A cowardly grub who drops his knees and studs into an opponents calves, hammys and back at every opportunity. Ricky must be proud. Josh McGuire wouldn't be far behind him though.

Meanwhile we have two of the classiest blokes to ever play the game on our flanks. Both better players, too.

I know who I'd rather support.

PS - is he 'rap-erna' or 'rap-arna'? Can somebody within the club/media ask him how it's pronounced and stick to it? With all the access they get to players, it's a farce they don't have a system for knowing everybody's name.

Gus finally worked out that Mata'utai wasn't Matty Utai (probably after all 3 of them threatened to bunch his face in). It's a multicultural sport - why not (I dunno) ask guys to do intro videos as part of their club profiles where they say 'I'm [name]... [intro]'. Then people can just go to that as a reference point rather than trying to wing it.

Im thinking Tommy that you would have seen some pretty grubby cowardly acts growing up watching the game in England. I still think today that the game in England is not as sterile as what the game is here.
Go & watch games that Rod Reddy is playing in for the Dragons, NSW & Australia.
The game is as clean as ever today, blokes like Rapana would be considered a saint in years gone by.
JWH out does all of them in an era that you dont get away with much.

On the subject of which way to say his name Ray Hadley tells the story how he was frustrated by the two different versions of how to say his name so he asked him one day. He responded with one of the two versions doing the rounds. For ease let’s call in version A.

Shortly afterwards whilst in Brisbane he was at a function where his mother was and wanting to make sure he had got the name calling correct he asked her. She responded with version B.

To this day Boltsy still calls him by what the mother said was right. So typical of the guy he didn’t really know himself.

Just like TPJ, he would be the wrong fit for our club. I hope that we would never ever consider going after him.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Did you see their game plan switch to strips, around the time SBW came on. They caught our boys out at the SCG , but this time we were ready. It was embarrassing seeing Whitehead and his mates keep trying it on. No wonder Robbo called them predictable
