Our players were used to Artie offloading and would run off his hip in anticipation. A lot of the time now the recipients of offloads are flat footed and die with the ball.
If you notice the storm if they get an offload to Cam he will spear it straight away out wide so they can attack a retreating defence.
If SBW finds some of his form with offloads Teddy and Keary will be pushing up running off him . The likes of SST and sitili will enjoy running off his short balls before the line.

Penalties conceded and unforced handling errors are the bigger areas of concern for me. Offloads largely seem to be a non-issue.

This is what I'm salivating about ... just like his offload to Maloney in the 2013 GF. I also think that he will attract a lot of defense and could be used very effectively as a decoy runner, especially close to the line.

this thread is bollocks...takes a complete game to beat this team. just offload ? rubbish, if it was that simple wouldn't every opposition coach have worked it out and we would be sitting 16th ? to beat this team you need a good defence , a programmed systematic defence, a great attack, a clever coach, a tactical plan, some balls, some guts, a dose of luck, and yea maybe an offload or 2 will help. but you'll probably still lose by 2.
