I feel its the perfect time, We are up against the worst team in the comp and its a golden chance for SBW to come off the bench and get a feel for the modern game/rules without the pressure of going up against a top side...imo throwing him into a highly intense/fast game (Canberra in Canberra) for his very first game could be a mistake... let him cut loose and get some game time and match fitness against the Broncos.. its the only time and chance to do it.

for me depends where he's at physically. maybe he's on a program that was aimed to get him ready for the raiders game. we don't want him to play before he's ready.
but if he's as ready as he'll ever be then i'm in favour. not as an act of desperation cos we've got guys out but as a chance to get him up to speed quicker.
today's team announcement will be interesting.

One of the papers reported last week that SBW's contract is for 4 games (+any semis) so to play him earlier than the Canberra game will mean the NRL will re-jig his salary cap amount. So it might not be a case of what we want rather what we are allowed to do with Sonny

Personally I'll just trust the club on this one. I'm not well versed in the art of sports science as much as I would love to see him out there this weekend if he is recovering from doing a mini pre-season he would obviously be at an increased risk of injury and he's no good to anyone if he's injured.

Of course it’s only common sense he needs match fitness and to get a feeling for the new rules but I think it’s legalities for sure tyat are denying him that. Just put him on for 20 minutes with Brisbane if there’s no issues.“Soon will the present day order be rolled up, and a new one spread out in its stead”- (Baha’u’llah)

I would be happy to see him play on Friday, but he won't.
Robbo and the coaching staff know what they are doingMRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
